WELCOME TO TODDLERHOOD!!!
Well Cassidy has entered the toddler zone. It's a whole new world, believe me!! She's so busy and active, and of course loves to get into everything. She's feeding herself now, but sadly, my little veggie eater now only wants to eat macaroni and cheese and raspberries!! I've tried hiding the broccoli under melted rice cheese... adding peas to her mac and cheese, but nooooooo. She wont' have it!
She's starting to add a few words here and there to her vocabulary. She now says "HI" but she imitates the way I say it to her, so it's much more enthusiastic, more like, "HIIIIIEEEE!!!" It's so cute!! Cracks us up. She's also starting to cut her molars, which has been very uncomfortable for her, but bless her little heart, she's just a trooper. She's loving Sesame Street, and really likes Elmo and Big Bird. She claps and laughs when she hears the theme song.
She's also developed this "laugh" that really sounds like she's up to trouble! She'll do it at very specific times, like when we're at the mall, and I actually let her run around instead of keeping her in her stroller. She gives this really maniacal laugh, like, "HAHA HA!" , almost as if she's saying, "HA! I'm finally free!! look at me go! I'm going to get into trouble now!!" It's so funny. I'll keep updating and let you all know how our wonderful little bean is doing!
